P2130831Approximately 120 protesters converged on Utah’s State Capitol on March 10, 2010 in a Rally for Carbon Dioxide Reduction. The rally was a response to the passing of HJR 12 andHJR 21, as well as the rejection of other legislation that would have incentivised green retrofits for homes and businesses.

Rocky Anderson, Rev. Diana Johnson of Utah’s Interfaith Power and Light, Senate Minority Leader Pat Jones, Joe Andrade of the University of Utah, Andrew Jorgenson of the University of Utah, Thomas Reichman, and Jonathan Jemming spoke at the rally.  Read Rocky’s speech here.

Protesters delivered High Road’s Climate Crisis Letter with over 1,000 signatures to every member of the Utah legislature.
