Celebration Gala – Time Warner Center, New York City

New York City gala at the top of the Time Warner Center held on Thursday November 19, 2009 to celebrate High Road for Human Rights. An exciting evening that featured:

Bill McKibben – Internationally renowned educator, environmentalist, author of The End of Nature and Deep Economy, and founder of 350.org.

Chris Hedges – Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author, war correspondent and former N.Y. Times Middle East bureau chief. Author of “Empire of Illusion” and “American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America.”

Rocky Anderson – Former mayor of Salt Lake City and Executive Director, High Road for Human Rights.

With a special performance by world class vocalist Shayna Steele.
