Good Wine for Good Will 2011 was a success thanks to the many supporters who attended and donated to the event, including wine from P.R. Grisley Wine, dinner from Market Street Grill, a professional photographer from the Art Institute of Salt Lake, and a musical performance from the Lloyd Miller Trio. The lower terrace of the Market Street Grill in Cottonwood was the perfect venue for this evening. Over 80 guests enjoyed the wonderful weather, food, and drinks with friends.
Guest Dann Howard, Director of Public Relations at the Montage Resort in Deer Valley, expressed, “As someone who has worked in wine regions on six continents, I am usually wary of gala events that promise ‘fine wine’ because it is usually a mundane experience for me. Not so at the High Road for Human Rights event last Friday. The wines from Portugal and Northern Spain were unlike any I had experienced in the world – unusual varietals and well-selected pairings with the beautiful menu. It was an extraordinary and meaningful part of the experience and I appreciate the expertise that led to these fine selections. Thank you for enhancing the evening and expanding my horizons with a truly worldly and high quality wine selection.”
The night ended with the closing of the silent auction, which included an original Salvador Dali piece, a Park City weekend getaway, invitations to the exclusive By Invitation Only Restaurant, and much more!
