High Road Meeting with Human Rights Workers from the Philippines

photo-HRHR-2-300x200The Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy, an affiliate of the State Department, asked High Road for Human Rights to meet with government officials from the Philippines who are working on grassroots strategies to combat human rights abuses in their country.   During the meeting, High Road presented the guests with its grassroots vision and purpose, multimedia footage of High Road’s Rule of Law informational piece, and information about current campaigns, including the Demand for the Restoration of Rule of Law.

photo-HRHR-2-300x200The guests included Mr. Ian Norman E. Dato, Undersecretary, Department of Justice, and Ms. Diana Ballesteros De Leon, Attorney V and Officer in Charge, Investigation Division, Commission on Human Rights (CHR).
