On the weekend of October 9-10, people all over the planet held events in support of sustainable living, particularly with respect to energy efficiency and utilization of cleaner sources of energy. There were more than 7,500 events happening in 188 countries. More about this fantastic global initiative can be found at www.350.org.

Thousands headed out to Liberty Park on Saturday October 9th for the High Road Cooler World Music Festival, presented by Park City Mountain Resort, High Road for Human Rights Education Project, and other climate protection advocates.   Attendees enjoyed free music while raising awareness about the climate crisis.  Local environmental groups, green businesses, community groups, and human and civil rights organizations were on hand to provide information and ways to take action.  In conjunction with thousands of events all over the world organized through 350.org, the festival was part of the most widespread day of environmental action in world history.
